Big, dreamy eyes... long, floppy ears... a sweet head tilt... a constantly wagging tail. I took one look at the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy sitting in front of me and I knew that this breed had found a forever spot in my heart. Born on December 28, 2001, Bailey (Courtlore Dreams Come True) became a part of my family when I acquired her as a companion puppy from Kati Beran of Jovial Cavaliers at the age of 11 months. She always had such a kind spirit and a happy heart, a true characteristic of this sweet breed. Although the walks were shorter and time spent sleeping was greater, Bailey continued to enjoy a happy life until the day she passed away at 13 years of age.
Born on October 29, 2005, Annie (Madella A Heart's Desire) jumped into my heart and my home at the age of 14 weeks old. When I purchased Annie from Pam Todd of Madella Cavaliers, I was provided the option of showing her in conformation events at dog shows. A door of opportunity was opened and I discovered the joy of showing dogs. Over the next couple years, Annie and I learned together out in the show ring. Although she only won 4 points toward her championship, Annie will always be a champion in my eyes!!

Time would show that Annie's greatest contribution would not be in the show ring but in the whelping box. Annie became the foundation of my breeding program here at Prestwick Court Cavaliers. In the Fall of 2008, Annie was bred CH Keyingham Stanway and gave birth to 8 beautiful blenheim puppies (5 girls, 3 boys) on October 24, 2008. I was able to retain one of the girl puppies named Kylie Belle to show and breed. Kylie Belle (CH Prestwick Court Sent From Heaven) would later become my first home bred champion - a very special accomplishment!! Words cannot express the excitement of watching a puppy you raised from the whelping box do so well in the show ring.
In the Spring of 2010, Annie was bred to CH Laughing Nessun Dorma and gave birth to to 7 wonderful puppies ( 4 boys, 3 girls) on May 20, 2010. Sadly, I was unable to ultimately retain one of the girl puppies to show and breed under my kennel name. But, what great joy it has been to cheer for one of the tricolor boys named Pablo (Ch Prestwick Court Picasso At Cottfordcourt) who is loved and owned by Cottfordcourt Cavaliers. How special it was to be present at the dog show on the day Pablo won his AKC Championship - I cried tears of joy!! Pablo is a beautiful Cavalier and very deserving of the Grand Championship title that he won out in the show ring!!
